Former Jets Pro Bowlers Joe Klecko, Wesley Walker, Greg Buttle,
and Super Bowl III Champions Randy Beverly and John Schmitt will return to Shea Stadium on Jets Night at Shea, Monday, April 28 when the Mets host the Pirates.
The Jets appearance at Shea, one day after the NFL Draft, commemorates the team’s 20 seasons in Queens.

who still thinks the Jets should have stayed at shea or atleast on long island,
J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!
LETS GO METS!
Nice!!!! It’s good that the Jets are going to get a little love at Shea in it’s final year.
I still would have liked to see the Jets play one last game at Shea this year, even if it’s just a preseason game.
What, no Broadway Joe? Has he been banned from all public appearances since he showed up drunk on national television?
Yea…Idk how you can honor the Jets of the late 60’s, without Broadway Joe…There’ no way he’d turn it down seeing as much as he loves the spotlight
And in other news, the knicks played their last game of the season last night…yeah, no one cares about that either…
Boy, it seems like they’ve been gone forever!
the jets suck…GO BIG BLUE….
Classy.
Can’t really argue with the logic, though. The jets certainly suck. The Giants are the champs. I guess the packaging of the message was potentially offensive.
I’m a Giants fan too, but I agree that the Jets should be honored in the last season at Shea, just like the Giants should get honored in the last season at Yankee. How great would it be if both teams played a game (even if it’s an exhibition) in the old stadiums. I doubt if Shea or Yankee can even be configured the way they used to be for football, what with renovations and whatnot, but they could still host just 1 game (look at the Dodgers preseason game at the Coliseum this year)
