I'm always embarrassed by these kinds of comments, the anti-Beltran Mets fans, because you ask any fan of any other team in the league, and they'd love to have Beltran (ok, maybe not Cleveland). I mean, trade Beltran? Who exactly replaces him? Why would the Mets want to rebuild? because thats exactly what you're doing when you get rid of a gold glove center fielder who htis as well as Beltran does.

Well said...haha. I still can't believe that there are Beltran bashers out there. Have Met fans been paying attention the last three years. The guy is the best centerfielder the Mets have ever had. He is arguably the best centerfielder in the game right now. I'm so sick of people judging Beltran on "the strikeout" and claiming he is soft. He plays hurt alllllll the time.

When your lineup is anxiously awaiting the return of Moises Alou, who can tell you stories about the Ford administration, you're in no position to think moving Beltran would be a smart move.

My question is why was Shea so quiet with 2 on 2out in the 9th of a tie game with one of baseball's better players at the plate? I was there 2 years ago for that final out but geez - give the guy some noise, ah?

Yeah, who needs a guy who has averaged 150 games played since 2001, hits between 30 and 40 HR a year, drives in over 100 runs, steals bases at a higher percentage than anyone in the game, plays gold glove center field and has a .366 average with 11 home runs in 22 post season games. Let's see if we can get some good draft picks for him.

i am personally sick of carlos beltran. the guy is like a china doll.

imo they should look to move him in the off season. he is not a NY player and he would probably waive his no trade in a minute.

they could probably get a nice haul for him. his contract is now very reasonable.

Also, sleep on your back. So many neck problems come from sleeping on your stomach with your head turned to the side.

I can't speak to the temperpedic bed. But I used to have that problem all the time.

One word: Chiropractor, go see one Beltran, since you're obviously reading this. But seriously, sleeping on your back and seeing a Chiropractor, that will align you fairly quickly. Some of the random nagging injuries Beltran seems to have strike me as injuries he'd get because he is out of alignment.

temperpedic beds are the best! and my wife is an acupuncturist.

(i'm surprised johan isn't the one with the stiff neck, from all the whiplash he must have gotten last start...)
