I really do believe if Church was hitting after Reyes in the 9th inning w/ 2 outs it would've been Lidges first blown save. But we look good. And we play good defense. Also, getting any help at all from the umpire would've been good - especially as Eaton was getting calls. The wind worked twice in the Phillies' favor last night - keeping the 3-run shot fair, and keeping Wright's pop out of the stands. Oh well, stuff happens in a 162-game season. Seemed like every marginal call went against Pelfrey, and for Eaton. And the second last pitch of the game being called strike as well just cemented that impression.
