I was at the Shea 12 inning game 4/10, wearing a Beltran #15 black jersey, and a huge Philly fan (wearing a nameless, numberless old school Phils jersey) who definitely would have pummeled me if it had come to that yelled "Mets suck" as I passed. I stopped and said "not as much as the Phillies, do the math." He replied "I did the math and we're better than you," to which I said "Let's see, 1 championship in over 100 years versus 2 in 46 years. I thought Philly was a college town, guess you didn't go," then I quickly moved along while his tiny brain tried to process simple fractions. The fans never bothered me once and I was suprised. Figured it was just because I wasn't in the upper deck. but I'll give them their due, they were class that night.
