Health: Castro’s Hammy, El Duque and Pedro
By Matthew Cerrone - Apr 22, 2008 8:16 am

Ramon Castro caught five innings and had two hits in an extended spring training game yesterday, while working to return from a strained hamstring.

The team’s Ass’t GM John Ricco told reporters that Castro is still unable to run at “100 percent.”

Ricco also told reporters that both Orlando Hernandez and Pedro Martinez will travel to New York to be re-examined.

When is the last time Castro was able to run at 100%, 1997?

I was going to say he never runs at 100%, my 90 yr old grandmother runs faster. Its not like he’s running out double plays or scoring from 2nd on a base hit when he’s healthy anyway!

Exactly how slow is a less-than-100% Castro? If he played would they take back his one career stolen base?
