I hate watching postgame interviews of the losing starting pitcher. It’s so depressing. Even when he did only give up 2 runs.

Alright guys, we got Figgy going against Lilly today and then Santana and Ollie against the Nationals.

    Let’s take these games.

Can there be a more depressing headline than in today’s Times:

Mets Say Delgado Is Not Playing as Badly as He Looks

    How encouraging!

Delgado’s biggest mistake last night — swinging at the 2-0 pitch by Z in the 7th. Z was frustrated at his location and threw the third pitch approx 2 feet off the plate…he is a spaz and teams need to notice when he’s about to go off the deep end and lose his composure. delgado flailed at the third pitch, then swung at the next pitch, and gave Z the confidence he needed.

A little OT: Anyone read the article today about how Santana wanted to play in Chicago if he was traded there. Santana does say all the right things in the article, just a little scary that there was false info being thrown around about him and the situation. The arcticle was in the the Chicago Suntimes.

Game was fun to watch but once you saw Heilman in the 8th, you had to know we werent going to win this one…

  9. SuperGrover says:

Doesn’t anybody know the rules of the game?Derrick Lee inteferred with the ball when he was on third in the bottom of the 8th,and the Mets aren’t appealing.I don’t get this team at all.
