But the charges were dismissed; he's still married to the same woman; and somehow he's managed to avoid the federal pen in the 13 years since it happened. But no, I don't defend it. He's okay. A very decent family and the guy made a mistake. It always rubs me the wrong way when this issue is dredged up... but of course that's just because I know them.
