Claudio Vargas pitched like you would expect a big leaguer to pitch in A+ ball. Eric Niesen, who is normally a starter, pitched poorly in relief and took the loss. Ramon Castro played and had a couple hits. Bingy and Savanah are off, while New Orleans begins thier west coast swing in Tacoma tonight at 10. I was just trying to explain that when a game is reported as going 4.5, it means that it ended in the middle of the 5th, thus four full innings, and a half.
