Between him, Evans, even Murphy or Duda, one of them should take over the reigns. They could save a ton of money and get a lot younger which would be nice to see. I'm a big believer in promoting from within, and I'd like them to think about what they are going to do as far as Evans and Murphy with Wright staying at 3rd for a very long time and F-Mart going to obviously be in the outfield, and Church, well, being the biggest pleasant surprise this year...so what to do...? His numbers and being a 9th round draft pick suggest that he is not a top prospect, but hopefully he can prove that this is not just a hot streak. Between him and Nick Evans--our system might be suddenly deep at 1B. And who knows, we have a possible replacement for Delago at midseason and next season. If we don't have to go get a 1B, that would save a ton of money for other signings. This is great to see, especially at 1B.
