I would have much rathered a L,R,L,R,L rotation but maine is not really going deep into games as we would have thought coming out of ST and the bullpen gets more rest after johan. The plan was to have martinez after santana and based of martinez assesment of his health(lol) that would have bought the bullpen even more rest. Around the 5th inning he have the victor zambrano lost look on his face and next thing you know the other team has jumped back into the game. I understand the concept of leaving your guy in there to get out of his own mess, but this guy is capable of putting the game out of reach. I guess willie just wants to prevent it from going that far at the expense of the bullpen of course. Like i said before dammed if you do and dammed if you dont.
