I remember reading about his contract being renewed over the winter, and the amount of games seemed ridiculously low, like in the 50’s or something. I asked the question then, but got no response. I’m not sure of the number, but again it seemed low. I was disappointed because I think he is fantastic in the booth. It seems like he is enjoying broadcasting less and less, though.

I wouldn’t doubt that Keith just doesn’t like to work that much. He seems like that type of person, also evidenced by thim “bailing” on the class after he commited to it. He doesn’t like to be tied down (my read).

I would much rather go to a class taught by Ron. But then again, I’m interested more in baseball. If I were more interested in Keith Hernandez, then I’d go to the class taught by Keith.

Amen! Keith is quickly becoming another Phil Rizzuto with his constant whining about being cold, tired, etc. If things are that unbearable in the broadcast booth, let someone else take over.

I wonder if he teaches classes on finding a coke dealer when you travel to different cities, or getting smashed after work, or being a mentor to younger co-workers in their own substance abuse.

I’ve asked that too on here and I don’t get much of a response. He would’ve made that 13-1 loss a little wore watchable.

I think he is only doing just over 100 games this year so maybe he has a week or so off each month.

Would this course have an age minimum (like 50 years old)? Since it is in Port St. Lucie and it’s an “adult” University, whatever that means.
I’d love to check that out, given you can attend if you’re in your 20s.
