Yes the team has spent of boatload of money on talent but Willie has brought a winning attitude to the team. And while he has to shoulder some of the blame he's not solely responsible and has done a very good job, considering the circumstances, as a manager. Probably the best manager we've had after Davey Johnson, argueably Bobby V. People, before 2005 our organization was a losing team. Yes, we're in first and over .500 but we are smart enough to know that it is a long season and the team will not go all the way if they are allowed to be complacent. Things need to be shaken up before they are allowed to get used to losing more games than they are winning. This is a new year and we have to get over last year in order to judge if this team has improved because ANY failure this team makes will be OVER magnified and linked to the results from the collapse.
