How can you NOT respect Franco? If you were able to be employed at the age of 49-50, as a player, you have GOT to be doing something right. But, what would you hire him as? A Motivational speaker? I believe one of the key losses this team has suffered has been the loss of Franco’s presence in the dugout/clubhouse. Since he left midway through last season, the team has never been the same. I couldn’t stand watching him pinch hit, but he was a positive influence on Reyes, Beltran, Perez, and the rest of the young players. Everyone RESPECTED Franco. In my opinion, its very arguable whether or not they respect Randolph. BRING BACK FRANCO, BRING BACK THE SPARK!!!!
