You cannot be serious! Scullyis the first opposition booth I was happy to have on my Extra Innings package. Especially compared to the Gants, Fish, and D-bags booths. The guy really paints the "word-picture" as he is simulcast on radio for the first three innings (quite a talent for one 80 year old to handle alone in the booth).

You know he bleeds Dodger blue, but he is not a "homer" and never actively cheers nor gets obviously down when the opposition does something good. When DWirght hit a homer in AZ, the nnouncers barely called the shot, just sort of sighed and lameneted the state of the world. When David made a great defensive play yesterday, Scully called it with enthusiasm like he was Gary friggin Cohen.

He is a pro who still does his homework at nearly 81 years old. Heck, I learned things about individual Mets players I never knew.

enough with the "go figure" for schoeneweis - in 11 appearances since he blew the home opener, he has like a 1.04 ERA with a .570 OPS against. he's been fantastic.

It doesnt bother me, it just seems an off choice...

I have no problem with using any of the rested guys. Its just strange to go to Sosa so much. Not so much Dauner because he could use all the rest he can get, but getting Heilman into some unpressurized innings seem to work, maybe the same would be good for Feliciano.

I can understand the use him while you got him idea, but lets revisit that when the Mets send Joe Smith to AAA later in the week...

My theory is the mets signed him to lure Santana to New York. That all I can think of. At this point, Castillo is average in every aspect of the game.

Did anyone notice how Jones was getting booed out the stadium? Does not just happen in New York.

I don't know if it is just me but why the hell did we sign Castillo during the off season. He is a good fielder but everytime he is up at bat he can't hit the ball out of the infield. He hurts his knee every year. I don't get why we signed him.
