In a post to Hot Foot, Andrew Beaton writes a letter to Carlos Beltran, saying, ‘Step it Up.’

According to Ed Ryan from Mets Fever, “Something needs to change.”

At Faith and Fear in Flushing, Jason talks to himself, and determines that last night will be 200 minutes of his life that he’ll never get back.

I guess playing with broken bones in your face isn’t tough enough. The guy is still playing gold glove defense in center with bad knees and of course people are going to complain. He isn’t hitting yet but he will. People need to get off Beltran’s back; when he goes on one of those streaks where he drives in 30 and hits 8 homers over a 3 week span you’ll see everyone on the bandwagon again.

I think the last time that happened he was playing in Houston, many moons ago
