The guy is still playing gold glove defense in center with bad knees and of course people are going to complain. He isn't hitting yet but he will. People need to get off Beltran's back; when he goes on one of those streaks where he drives in 30 and hits 8 homers over a 3 week span you'll see everyone on the bandwagon again.
