Getting hurt 48 hours before game one of the NLDS vs. Dodgers was the first step, and then his erratic starts in 2007, and then the whole bunion/foot/been-in-a-boot-for-almost-6 months thing really just made the former WS MVP into a complete joke. They don't need El Duque right now. They need to instead start thinking about long-term solutions for the starting rotation and getting some of the guys in AAA to take it to the next level.
