I think that getting the out, whilst flipping head over heals into hostile fans, then getting stuck between a couple of high-priced seats might earn you a day or two off.

And it’s injuries like this why the Mets should never consider carrying 13 pitchers.

It just goes to show that everyone in the FO thinks Sosa SHOULD be the one to go when Wise gets back, but is too afraid to lose him on waivers. So rather than do-wrong by Smith, we weaken the team by having 4 bats on the bench, 3 of which Willie will actually use.
