Flip em. It worked for Mantle and Maris. Hit wright 4th. He's a better contact hitter, and needs less protection than beltran, as seen when he was batting fifth behind delgado in 06. If beltran keeps getting on base at this clip, it will create a great deal more RBI opportunities for a very good clutch hitter

Its all connected, to start the season the order of Wright, Beltran and Delgado was ok. As it became apparent Delgado was in the same place as last year Beltran stopped getting pitches to hit and has gone down the drain. Now pitchers can attack/pitch around Wright and he is the one having a hard time now.

Church cant bat behind everyone, eventually someone else below Wright is going to have to start hitting for the lineup to work.

I am not concerned with Wright at all. The same goes for Beltran.

That being said, if you are one of the folks that is concerned about Beltran, then you also have to be concerned about DW. Beltran is walking alot more, where as it seems that DW is swinging at alot of pitches that he shouldn't be. Especially that breaking stuff away.

Please, he's on a pace for 140 RBI's, he's hitting 260, its a slump...a rough couple of weeks. Big deal, do we need a poll on everything? If you are worried about Wright, you must lead a very stressful anxious life. Many more pressing concerns with this team than David Wright

Not overly, more accepting. Even hall of famers like Joe Morgan had some up and down years early in their career. He is still on the learning curve, once he figures it out he will string together some monster seasons!
