Either way he would have been on the team this year. Worry about how bad he is in 2010 in uhhhhh 2010. There is no reason to constantly complain about his production and his contract. Yes it is long, but at the end it is only a problem if it stops the Mets from signing a player down the road. The Mets aren't short of cash - hence their #3 payroll. Castillo may not be the best second basemen around, but there are a few Brandon Phillips or Chase Utley's in the league. He does his job on occassion and that is what we ask of him.
