happy mothers day
The Florida Marlins have the best record in all of the majors.
The FLORIDA MARLINS!!!
with all this talk about the Mets/Phils/Braves being the team to beat, the Marlins have gone out and just plain crushed the ball.
I know that everyone says that they don’t have the pitching to compete, but they are winning a lot of games. I truly believe that the Mets, Phils and Braves are all better teams, but the Marlins are winning more games.
At what point do we need to be worried about the Marlins? All of the pundits are saying that the Marlins are not serious contenders, but did anyone tell that to the kids on the Marlins team?
they are winning because they have been out slugging everyone – not to mention for the first month and a half they have been playing crap teams – ie..national – pirates-brewers who are not doing well at the moment…the real test for them will come when they play – the braves,phillies and mets in consecutive series….so we will see….
Is that you, Dan Uggla?
Starting May 26th, the Marlins start a 10 game 3 city roadtrip that takes them to NYC, Philly and Atlanta. We’ll see where they stand after that.
AND HIS NAME IS STILL DAN UGGLA
::shudders::
Interesting to note the two players on the team batting over .300 are Church and Schneider.
I know it’s early in the season, but it’s noteworthy right now.
