Luis Castillo left Sunday’s game after the fifth inning with what the team called ‘left-quad discomfort.’
Castillo, as quoted by the New York Post:
“It’s tight. I want to see what happens (today)…When I run to third base, I felt it tighten up and I had to leave the game. I don’t think it is (serious), but I don’t know if I’ll be in the lineup (today).”
Following the game, Randolph told reporters that Castillo’s injury did not seem serious, adding, “but we’ll see.”
…when castillo is questionable, keep him reserved in all fantasy leagues until further notice…although he is resilient, the injuries just keep coming…

as much as i’m not a castillo hater like most here, i would hate to only have him in fantasy leagues…yikes!
Do we know how he suffered the tightness? Did he get the discomfort on that first inning triple?
at this rate this site should be called Regis Courtemanche’s MetsBlog
Matt finally got some sleep, huh? LOL
They only way Luis Castillo should be on your fantasy team is if you are in a 30 team league.
Castillo is not ownable in a 30 teamer. Make it 35.
This is a big deal?
I leave MOST Mets games with discomfort this year, considering their play on the field.
Take this guy to the vet and two injection’s that’s it put him out of his misery.;
