I never accused Bobby V of being incompetent (as opposed to our current manager). The Wilpons were the main culprit in the Mets post-2000 downfall.

You Bobby V fans kill me. You all were probably dogging him back then, when he managed the Mets, for overmanaging and making too many double switches, and letting Al Leiter and Johnny Franco for running the team (remember????)

If Jim Leyland was managing the Mets, fan would be dogging him too.

They’ve been dogging Charlie Manuel in Philly for being a big dope . . . until he won.
