I would enjoy these commercials with Jose in them, MORE if he was getting on-base at a more consistent clip…
HAHAahha! …hilarious.
ehh i think that’s a stupid commercial…if ESPN was smart, they’d have Reyes teaching one of his elaborate hand shakes! not some kind of salsa dancing.
Ah youre a freakin buzz kill…
yeah…but not as big as Buzz Killington!
Mistermet—Thats where I thought the commercial was going, before the music started….I preferred the Mr.Met Sportcenter commercials better. Though my favorite has got to be the one where Wally the Green Monster sees Ortiz breaking in Posada’s Yankee cap
haha that is a great one
exactly…it looks like he’s giving hitting tips, and then they go into the handshake. i just feel that would be funnier because i’ve never seen Reyes dance like that in the dugout. he actually does handshakes, so that makes more sense, in my opinion.
This is less funny while he is slumping.
I kinda don’t like how ESPN does all these commericals with athletes, while they’re funny, it makes them very hypocritical at the same time
how does it make them hypocritical, exactly?
SO TRUE!
Wow, you people could drain the fun out of anything.
I guess they dont like the 2K8 commercials either.
Former MLB superstar turned professional reggaetone singer & dancer.
Superstar? Between his injury plagued first 2.5 seasons and the 2nd half of last year and the first 40 games this year….tough to still call him a superstar.
He’s hitting .250 since last year’s All-Star break.
Oh, come on you guys! You’re gonna tell me that didn’t make you laugh?!?! That made me ‘LOL’ – for real….Too funny! Although, I do agree with mistermet – the handshakes would have been even funnier!
that’s what was funny about it – I was led to believe he WAS teaching a handshake…and then to go into dancing! that was great
Jose definitely has a future slot on “Dancing With The Stars” if this baseball thing doesn’t work out.
nobody has the ability to bring more joy to mets fans than jose reyes. i can’t wait for him to get hot. it makes the games so much fun to watch.
ok..but the david wright one was better. in my opinion nothing beats the david ortiz wearing a yankees cap/ wally one
Hey Wally, it’s not what you think.
phew! for a second i thought he was giving hitting advice
lmao
lmao2
That was HILARIOUS! and it isn’t salsa, it’s merengue.
It’s still not as funny as the MLB 2K8 one with the guy smashing Jose’s boombox :)
Agreed – but both are very funny.
i’m trying to write a formula to determine the scoring efficiency of teams and i was wondering if it’s at all possible to find the number of passed balls, wild pitches, errors that an opposing team commits (PB/WP/E against?) and the number of extra bases taken due to the aforementioned without looking at every single individual game.
if you know where i can find those stats, it would be much appreciated
You’d probably have to take that up with Elias, or go through the box scores on your own.
Great commercial. And I don’t understand how it’s hypocritical of them to have athletes in Sportscenter commercials. Makes sense to me. The athletes don’t get paid to be on the commercials. ESPN makes a donation to the charity of their choice.
hahahaha you know that how? i guarantee you jose cashed in from this one…
