Could have been worse.
Hopefully he picks up where he left off when he gets back.
Wonderful. Take your time coming back, please.
Alou Jr.!!!!!
Stop, please.
Remember, we thought Reyes would never stay sound after his first few injury-prone years in pro ball. Let FMart grow into his body, he’ll be fine.
I don’t like that Fernando has so much pressure at this age, everyone is expecting him to be the next best thing since sliced bread, but when he comes up, how many of us will be booing him, because he doesn’t fit his label.
The Mets are notorious for overhyping there players, so that when they are exposed in the big leagues, there value goes down, and the fans are unhappy. Let the kid play, he has talent, but its raw talent. He doesn’t need the hoopla unless he is making it for himself. I hope to see Fernando when he is a couple of years older. Trust me he’ll be worth the wait.
Fernando is quite poised for such a young age and can handle a lot more than many imagine. Speak to this kid and you will quickly forget that he is only 19. It is unfortunate as he was just starting to heat up, but hopefully the THM can return to form as the summer heats up.
