I recently found out that Tobi Stoner was born in West Germany. If he keeps pitching like this, perhaps he has a shot at the All-Star Futures Game for the World Team (considering they let Craig Stansberry play last year)? They seem to have a penchant for picking one or two players from oddball countries with not much baseball history.

They’re really getting bad on weekends. Seems like it started after Matt brought on the other four or five writers last year, which doesn’t really make sense. You’d think the more writers there are, the quicker there would be a recap.

Yeah, I was wondering where are “Happy Recap” was.

There are a lot of Kudos to be given.

Great win, even if it was against a Yankee team void of two of its big run producers- AROD and Posada.

Sometime, however, Matt posts but it does not appear, only to appear the next day, with a time stamp of the earlier day. This has happened on more than one occasion. Not sure why it should, I would think that Matt would be able to check that his recap was correctly posted.

Anyone knows what’s up with MIke Carp? He hasn’t played in about a week and I haven’t seen why. Can’t find any info.

He’s not listed as being on the Minor League 7-Day DL, but hasn’t played since May 8. Perhaps they think he’s day to day with some injury?

the re cap is caught in some sort of time warp very similar to the one on Lost….
