Exactly. Plays 2B, SS & 3B and can’t hit much, but is still an offensive upgrade over A-Hern, in that he can actually hit a little. Just not much.

He’s actually played more each at SS and 2B than he has at 3B.

Only played two professional innings in the OF though, only one of those in the majors. I doubt he’d look any worse than Tatis out there though.

The fact that he started a lot for the Phillies doesn’t say anything good about him. He was a significant part of the least productive 3B in the majors.

Nonetheless, he does give us depth at 3B and SS (I guess Tatis has earned first stab at 3B), and will be less awful at the plate than A-Hern. I think it’s a good move.
