Evans has sort of flown under the radar...but he has been very impressive thus far. He's come thru in the clutch multiple times here at Binghamton. He's the guy I want at the plate at a crucial point in the game. His defense at first isn't too bad either.

Carp is not a solution in LF. In a few games in the outfield, he has been less than impressive. You cannot move Wright obviously. That's not even an option. Murphy's defensive skills are less than average. He would be better suited to make the move to first.

Aguilar was signed by the Mets in 2005. He spent last season with Binghamton as well.

2 third-basemen for 1 position is all. Wright is a good defensive 3B'man, but let's be honest; his throws are sometimes not the greatest.

FMart needs to play a full season without being on the DL before I pencil him i.

It does seem that we have a strong offensive group at Binghamton at the moment with Evans, Carp and Murphy. Caleb Stewart and Fmart also seem to be holding their own nicely. But pitching is an issue for sure. Parnell and Niese are underwhelming and they are the best of the starters in the system at the moment I think. Rustich and Kunz are gonna be good but likely relievers with the hope that one becomes the closer of the future.

With 3 first rounders coming, I say go Starting Pitching with all three and pay over slot if lucky enough to have a few gems fall down due to signability issues

Why would you want Wright to move to 1st base for a minor leaguer that can't field? At best you are looking at 2 out of the 3 panning out anyway. Then throwing Fmart in there too hopefully you can at least fill LF and 1B. Those are our biggest needs, Wright is fine at 3b.

If Carp can play LF, and Murphy or Wright can move to 1B, we could have a nice lineup in 2008-2009.

"Elvys Quezada" that's just wrong. E-L-V-I-S. There's no "Y" in Elvis.

Nick Evans in the mix too (Age 22, .913 ops). Not sure who of the three is the most major league ready or the best defensively.
