racism is alive and well, but i believe that professionals, such as media, would try not to alienate some of their readers, and they wouldn’t want to lose their jobs, so they would at least hide it if they felt that way…

who do you think you are playing the race card? you have no clue what goes on in my mind, so stop telling me what i think and how i feel about racial issues…racism goes both ways my friend, I see it every day since I live in an area with both whites and blacks…get over it and stop talking about race, lets talk about the fact that the most talented team in the nl is barely .500 since the middle of last season and his team choked…he is arrogant and talks down to everyone who interviews him since he thinks that nobody else’s opinion is as valuable as his because he was a professional ball player and god forbid anyone who didn’t play in the majors actually have an opinion on his coaching…he is a lousy manager, because not only does he not have a feel for the game as a coach but he obviously has no clue how to do deal with people…Tom Coughlin, a white coach, was killed by the media, and he only went out and won the super bowl because he realized his faults and improved…willie is a joke

Just because someone does well financially doesn’t make them smart, a lot of ballplayers have advisors in that area, and god bless him, I wish the man no harm, I actually like him, but just because I don’t think he’s that smart as ‘zerosum’ suggest, does that make me a racist? he’s been blessed in a lot of ways, but the way he has handled this team, media, and fans, has been incredibly ignorant, is there racism in this world ? of course, I’ve been rooting for the man, but he puts his foot in his mouth, he’s a raw nerve and you just can’t be that in this city, especially after this team just put out a fire in the clubhouse, he ignites another, does that sound smart?, and I don’t know if firing him is an option, because who do you want to replace him? Lee Mazzilli? what made him such a great manager?
