But no way in hell should he be starting over Chipper. But seriously, after Chipper, who would you take over Wright as a backup? Mark Reynolds? Aramis Ramirez? Ryan Zimmerman? Maybe I'm leaving someone out, but if you look at Wright's stats (plus the outstanding defense he proves, minus an errant throw now and then) he's gotta be your second choice (after Chipper, who is the clear cut starter and quite possibly the first half second choice NL MVP so far, after Lance Berkman). If you watch the video of it, after hitting his head on the knee, he fell right to the ground with his head contorted sort of under his body, and never tried to brace himself for a fall like people who are conscious were.
