Hek yea, i want Piazza on the SNY team immediately. Mike we love you bro.

I was at his final game with the Mets.

I remember my brother brought his new gilfriend to the game and during the ten minute standing ovation,

I was glassy eyed and teary and had a slight lip quiver.

I was holdin it back, I didn’t want to scare his new girl, kinda funny when I think back.

Love Mike. he;s the man. Get this guy workin with the Mets immediately.

He’s a Paison and he represents Mets Pride. Two words rarely put together.

Mike did a great job for ESPN, in fact his insights were like an expansion on how he addressed the media in NY — when it came to comments on the game, not the other BS that sometimes surrounded him.

He and Reynolds would make a great duo — better than Kruk and Ravich.

Piazza would actually be a terrible hitting coach – because he was such a natural. He never looked at video. Never analyzed anything. He just went up there and raked. You can’t teach that.

I’m sure he understands the other side of it – and if he wanted to be a hitting coach, I’m sure he’d be a great one. But if you just look at his approach to hitting, it wouldn’t translate into a good hitting coach.

yes my ideal situation – mike replaces ron and keith – keith to be the manager, ron to be the pitching coach – fire peterson and willie – 08 champions – no denying the electricity and intenisty this would bring to shea.
