THANK YOU! It's like your reading my mind. I'm sick of hearing about Castillo and Alou and their aches and pains. I thought that the whole concept of playing baseball was to, well you know, ummmm play every once and a while. GO RYAN CHURCH!

Well said, V. Insanity.

I continue to stick with my guns when it comes time to express my opinion towards the disgusting play of the Metropolitans.

I will remain persistent and convey my thoughts of how the players portray the precise mirror image of their manager.

Lead-by-Example leadership has never backfired like current days as a New York Met.

Furthermore, injuries bring important feedback to the surface, while any injury-related happening to a NY Met should be explained in detail for the fans to read.

The Metropolitans are in an obvious downward spiral, with the latest injuries adding insult to their injury.

I do concur, that we want Church to feel well enough to play, so we can only hope to see him sooner than later. Needless to say, since he's just about the only player to have his bat speak much louder than any word, we can expect a speedy recovery.

The fans would absolutely love to hear and see this .500 Team grow a set, for sure. We all know how a baseball season is long enough to witness almost anything. Thus, we absolutely have a chance to see the Mets turn this continuous slump around. Nonetheless, they need to start moving towards the right direction NOW.

Finally, due to injuries playing an unfortunate role in all sports, with key injuries always seeming to come at the worst time -- the players MUST deal with it, and play through certain injuries. Players for all sports must toughen-up and play with sure emotion and adrenaline to make the pain go away. The post-game TLC inside the trainers room will always be there, so they need to fight through bumps and bruises in effort to WIN.

The best example to share, which brings-up a great idea how Willie can continue doing what he does best -- remain silent w/ no emotion; Willie can motivate without saying a word, and listen to my best example; that is, hang-up pictures of true warriors throughout the locker room. The true warriors are hockey players. Boy, talk about fighting through injuries for the love of competition, winning, and their teammates. Hockey players can be shedding blood that requires 30-stitches one-minute, and be back in the game after some repair work. Willie should shed some positive light and start being more creative with his leadership and motivation.

No, I'm 5 hours ahead of NY time so I listen on a next morning basis. When there are rain delays I usually fast forward to the action because, well, I'm impatient. I rarely hear the Schmoozer because his show is on when I'm asleep.

I know with these guys it was the result of repeated concussions, but Al Toon and Harry Carson are just two guys from this area who still have problems.

I totally agree with you. Don't know if you were listening to the FAN during the rain delay the other night but I guy called up the Schmoozer and totally killed Hagin.

He and you are right. He sounds like "Generic Announcer guy". Like the kind that would be in a B High School Sports Movie.

Yeah. I was only just reading an article about an NBA player who suffered a concussion in the early 60s and nobody realized how bad he was until it was too late. Poor guy ended up paralyzed.

A blow to the head is not like a sprained ankle.

Maybe it's the right move with Church, but this team is ALWAYS cautious....and the wins just keep slipping away.
