give ALL the AA kids a shot at the same time

would make them less nervous if they come up as a group

cut Delgado & Castillo at the same time

Great, we're only in the first-inning and O. Perez is pouting on the mound.

I don't remember the last-time I was so disgusted watching this team -- not counting the end of last-season.

The team is playing so poorly that I'm even starting to believe Gary Cohen and crew has given-up on this team. They don't have much to discuss other than the other team putting-up runs and shutting-down the Mets. I guess they can't be blamed.

I'd like to bring back the discussion on how a manager can spark his team by sticking-up for his team and getting ejected from a game.

Willie lost another chance to gain New York support when his cross-town skipper decided to take my advice and show some emotion -- ending with Girardi getting tossed from yesterday's game. Oh, who won that game by the way? Oh again, who's currently winning 13-2 right now? That's right, Girardi's NY Yankees is who.

I surely hope that Willie can at least consider arguing a call with some emotion -- and not continue to sit on his hands while the team racks-up losses. David Wright should not be the spokesperson right now.

Maybe Obama can sit down with Bobby Cox and miraculously convince him to stop beating us like a rented mule. After all, he thinks it'll work with Ahmadinejad...

First of all, Santana is the ONLY pitcher right now who doesn't make me nervous of the end result. Santana is the ONLY pitcher who I trust to earn this team a "W." Maine is a solid, young and promising pitcher; yet, the man who's going to carry this club – and give them the best chance to win – is Johan Santana.

Secondly, I'm okay with Santana getting his high-hitting, run-scoring loss out of his system, because I not only know that he's not perfect – I also know that Johan will rebound in a dominant fashion, and lead this team to many big wins.

Finally, in regards to the top-selling saga, "Free Willie," we do not know for a fact that his departure won't help. The record keeps playing the same ole – same ole song, so it's about that time to change records.

And, we can only hope to see the same affect as if we were pulling and replacing our hockey goalie, because I've watched enough hockey to know how such a change can surely spark the team. The Mets need a spark.

Would he have the respet of the players? Do many of these guys have a clue as to who he is, how good he was?

We respect Mex because we saw him play. Many of these players were too young, in a different country, or don't care about baseball history.

Two words: Davey. Johnson. We have elevated minor league managers before. Like Davey. That worked out well.

I'd be okay with Oberkfell, even if he was the enemy in the 80s.

NOT Manuel. Nobody currently on the staff.

That surprises me...he always struck me as too into his little luxuries and too impatient to be manager. I'd hate to lose him fom the booth.
