Well, it must be me. I am not a fan of You Tube, My Space, Classmates.com, self web pages, etc, etc, etc. I do not get the concept of people wanting to put themselves out on the Net for virtual strangers to view and read about. Is it that 15 minutes of fame thing? Some venue to to look and listen to themselves over and over?? Sorry, just ranting.

I really, really tried hard to get through to the end of this. These two were so annoying with the constant nattering chatter before the song about absolutely nothing that by the time they actually got around to playing the song I listened to what I thought were the first two frames, couldn’t understand a thing, finally killed it. I might have listened to the entire thing if they had just played/sang the damn song and kept the nonsensical chatter off it. Must be showing my age…..I would have done better reading the lyrics..

So….basically I’ve got no comment on the song itself. Sorry guys, the post on You Tube just didn’t work for me. Then again, the only video clip I’ve ever viewed on You Tube was the Mookie/Bill Buckner play I came across one time…..

Unfortunately, it is kind of funny and the Mets have been playing like a double A team. (actually, that is an insult to double A players, at least they play with fire and you can tell by watching that they love the game)

Real nice guys… I spend three nights at turner getting my heart torn out and have to see a post like this on METSblog today… ugh. Seriously, that was the most depressing mets visit to Atlanta since the summer of ‘05 when we won something like one game total at Turner that year. It wouldn’t be so bad if the majority of their fans weren’t so weak and clueless. This one guy, and mind you I’m giving him credit for this, was trying to get the sweep chant going from the 6th inning on, before the score was in their favor. Like every met fan there, he knew that lead wouldn’t last. Yet, no one would join him until they got two outs in the ninth inning. Such an ignorant, no balls fanbase doesn’t deserve a team as well run as the Braves. And like cerrone said… of all the teams to face for four games in three days, with everything that’s going on right now, it had to be the f’ing Braves. No matter how horrible we are, I’m just never going to get comfortable walking out of Turner Field… win or lose. They own us.

I’m a huge Mets fan from Atlanta, been watching the Mets for 20 years, became a fan when WWOR was a superstation here, southerners are slow, everything in the south is 30 years behind the rest of the country, since 1997 the Mets are 31-64 at turner field and 47-47 vs the braves at shea. Mets are 51-42 vs the Phillies in philadelphia.
