Why does everyone have so much faith in Evans when he only played 2 games, one of which he went 0 for 4? Easley is horrible, i wouldn't trust him in the starting lineup. For those of you wo dont know, Delgado has a higher BA than Beltran and is on a hitting streak. We need to trade Castillo for someone better and younger.
A better order:

Beltran

Reyes

Church

Wright

Delgado

for now Evans... Angel Pagan when he gets back

Schnieder

Castillo

(Pitcher)

Oh, I've noticed...i've also noticed that other teams, the good ones anyway, don't get picked off base every other day, can hit behind a runner, don't throw 30 pitches in the first inning, can score a runner from third base with less than 2 out, can go from first to third on a single to right, don't walk the first batter in the innning, hustle out of the box and turn singles into doubles, hit the cutoff man with regularity, can come in from the bullpen and strand a runner, can pitch a complete game, don't require a IV drip of Geritol to stay off the DL for more than a week at a time, and are even able to string together more than two wins in a row!

So, yes, I've noticed.

Does anyone else notice that hitters from other teams fight off alot of tough pitches and have lengthy at bats? On the other hand if a Mets hitter falls behind in the count they usually make a weak out or K.

Maybe some time away to get mentally and physically right as they did with Tracshel will help. I still think Aaron can help and let's not forget the great work for the end of '06-'07 and it was the end of last year and the start of this year that something is wrong. I say give him a chance to work it out and I believe he will regain his spot in bullpen.
