We've not seen the real Matt Wise, FWIW. We've seen damaged goods and him pitching through what is likely a serious injury. I'd be concerned that he is headed for TJ or rotator cuff surgery the way they handled him though. I'm interested in what Muniz can give this team. He's pitched well in lesses spots so far, and has dominated the minors the last two years. So hopefully he can step in and be a factor. I think he put them both (MGR/GM) on notice to 'do what needs to be done' and get into first place by the break. That is what right the ship means to me. I have to believe that the inept mature of the starters, some of the lineup, and bench hitters are each weighing on one another. Its like an air-borne disease- it's time to not only clear the air (which has been done yesterday) but eradicate the roster of the bad seeds. The Mets will become sellers of the toxin and buyers of the AAA variety. The beginning is Evans...if he doesnt stay in place of Anderson, I might stop going to games all year.
