You have to let Evans hit there and then you double switch him out so your only using 1 player from the bench incase the game goes into extras or you need a big pinch hit at bat in the 8th inning. Additionally, the sample size of one, with Santana pitching and a lefty on the mound doesn't do much for me. No one blames him for each and every loss, individually.
