He was grooving hanging changeups to ross on both homeruns. They were middle middle with no break against a swing-out-of-your-shoes type of hitter. So Pedro has never pitched in the new SF ballpark. But his career number in SF are pretty damn good. He is 4-0 in SF giving up 17ER in 43IP, and striking out 57. In his last three starts in SF, he is 3-0 with a 1.17 ERA and 28K in 22IP. Lets hope he can pitch like he did when he was 24 and that the new field plays like Candlestick. Hell, I've seen Trachsel pitch a few gems here. You can do it Pedro! Its a good time to contribute. They need to go to the tape and see what he was doing when he gave up those dingers to Ross. Otherwise he struck out 7, not too shabby. Santana, Pedro, Maine, Perez, Vargas, not GREAT maybe good enough, better than most. But Braves, D-Backs and Dodgers are clearly better right now. We should start a thread on starting rotations...
