this is why the 100 pitch count is complete BS.

pitchers nowadays are coddled way too much. it’s maddening. doesn’t have to be how the Reds were with Mario, but it doesn’t need to be so automativ at 100 pitches either.

Good ole Mario Soto. Talk about a guy that would have benefited from pitching in today’s game. The Reds killed him with innings. I think he had something like 20 CG’s one year and near 300 innings. Could you imagine something like that today?
