At ESPN.com, fantasy baseball guru Tristan H. Cockcroft takes a glimpse into the future and presents his All-2012 fantasy team.
The New York Metropolitans who he named to the team are David Wright, Jose Reyes and Johan Santana.
…it is a pretty scary that in four years both d-wright and reyes will only be 29-years-old…
…MLB has some bright future ahead with the names on this list…

“Coming off his second consecutive MVP award, David Wright once again starts for the NL at third base in the all-star game.”
Thick………..That’s how I roll.
Yea, in 4 years Reyes and Wright will be the ages of Utley and Rollins now…….
holy crap. I had no idea Chase Utley was that old. ALways thought he was David’s age.
Me neither, I thought he was like 26.
Utley and Howard. Rollins I thought was already about 31?
In 4 years, F-Mart will be on the All-Star Team.
Does he really project to be that good? I’m not doubting, I’m just curious about what his skillset is and how highly touted he is….
They don’t call him the THM (not to be confused with the TMNT) for nothing!
Turtle Power!
I don’t know about his defense but he’s supposed to be an offensive powerhouse or something.
Tristan H. Cockcroft.
Just want to see if this comment will get blocked.
Sounds like a D&D character that owns a porno shop.
Pat Woodcock would’ve made one hell of a Giant.
I find it amazing that David had such an amazing season when he was only 23 years old
The Teutonic Titwillow.
Man, those schnitzendroobins will wipe you out…
Yea Utley and Howard are both 4 years older than Wright and 4.5 years older than reyes….
Reyes turns 25 in June.
He and DW are well on their way to 3,000 hits.
In a perfect world, those two stay on the Mets forever, get 3,000 hits, retire the same year and get into the HOF the same year. I’ll take 2-3 championships as well.
I like the cut of your jib!
This is off topic ,but has anyone checked out Ichiro’s stats since 2001??? He is the modern day Ty Cobb and it’s unfortunate he isn’t playing in a Big Market town so he can showcase his greatness…>>
I never looked at his numbers. All I know is that he sucked in my fantasy league. The guy singles all day. Woop-dee-friggin-dooo. He earned me about 3 points per day doing so.
Of course, when I let him go, the commish picked him up. That season, singles were raised to 3pts/per and homers were reduced from 4pts to 2. Hmmmm.
is Joe Morgan your commish?
and fantasy baseball continues to ruin real baseball…
amen to that
Ichiro is a Baseball God… He is a phenomal Offensive Player and Great defensive Player… I wish He played for a Big Market Team so we can see his greatness more… >>>
It’s refreshing that a great player isn’t rammed down our throats for once. Seattle is a great city, let him stay there
Alot can happen till 2012….Those guys are a shoe in…Im hoping there will be more to follow…LGM
Seattle’s not exactly a tiny market, and Ichiro gets a pretty good amount of coverage.
Anywhere west of Saint Louis is a Small Market…
you are dead wrong. st. louis is a small market.
In 2012 Phil Hughes and Mike Pelfrey will anchor the Newark Bears starting staff
