Note: David Wright and his Two-Run Homers
In last night’s win against the Dodgers,
David Wright hit two two-run home runs, both with two outs.
…both home runs were off of 93–mph fastballs…both hits were no-doubters…
Wright is currently on pace to hit .280 with roughly 30 home runs, 120 RBI and 20 stolen bases for the season.
Following the game, Wright told Kevin Burkhardt on SNY that the team is more relaxed now that many of the off-field distractions are in the past, adding, “Now we can just go out and play baseball, which is what we love to do.”

Lastly, in post to his blog for the Daily News, Adam Rubin reveals to Wright that the third baseman is ‘old,’ at least when compared to tonight’s starter for the Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw, who was 16 years old when Wright broke in to the big leagues.
