He has had 2 good yrs including 36-101; the guy is only 33. He plays 3rd & 1b - we dont have a true backup at either position. I really cant see a reason not to sign him to a minor league with an out if he isnt called up by an agreed upon date. If all of our 2b'men can be called backup OF's so can this guy.
