Just read a SI article on the 08 Draft. They have the Mets picking up Weeks’ lil brother out of Miami. He plays 2B. If he’s as good as Rickie, I’d love to see him at CitiField.

Also thanks to the last few years of miserable drafting, outside the obvious (Wright, Reyes and Kazmir) all the other Met current/former prospects are still unproven, washed up, or playing for Bobby V in Japan.

It’s about time this team…..no, organization….focuses on the bigger picture.

Pedroia came out of ASU and he ready for the show within 2.5 years at about 1000 abs. They have a great baseball program at ASU. So hopefully ‘Yes’ because I’d love to have some of my Sun Devils on my fav pro team.

Thanks in part to this site and the success of the Rays and D-backs, I’ve very interested in this year’s draft. Can Ike Davis be ready for The Show in a couple of years? Is is that type of player? Mets need to draft some high-impact prospects.
