Again, Ryan Church will not be in tonight’s lineup – meaning he has sat out from the last three games.
Endy Chavez will start in right field, while Fernando Tatis will start in left.
…Update…7:30 pm…
Church told reporters that he talked to a team doctor in New York by phone, and will now be ‘shut down’ for the next couple of days.
To hear more from Church, be sure to check out
‘s Pre Game Show at 9:30 pm, prior to tonight’s game.
Raul Casanova is back with the team, following time spent on bereavement leave.
As such, Robinson Cancel is headed to Triple-A New Orleans.
…you know, because when down one outfielder, i.e. Ryan Church, and with a weak-hitting bench, it’s super important to carry three catchers along with Abraham Nunez, who was hitting .133 in Triple-A before being called up to the Mets…
…i mean, are these guys even trying to field the best 25–man roster at this point…i just don’t get it…
