We B4 I???? Did they text this to each other? or maybe they didn't have time to actually write the whole word out, oh and by the by, it's also grammatically incorrect. They should change the name of this team to the NY Cliches.

"the blogger you are defending scours the posts only looking for someone he can argue with and belittle….. Mostly he plagarises radio talk show hosts, colum writers, or web posts/articles. "

Well if he does im sure its to prove w/e point he is trying to make on that given debate. I dont think i have seen the real belittle anyone here but rather engage in a debate or point out a different POV. I know i have learned a hellova lot since being on this blog from just about everyone and mostly that knowledge has come through the good debates the knowledgable fans have here. I enjoy that aspect of this site.

"Not to mention he is a sickening suck up to the founder of metsblog"

That you are right i dont know and have not seen as of yet..

I agree. My point is that the Mets obviously have more talent, but they can't put it together. The Cardinals are playing MUCH harder and in turn getting some breaks to go their way.

notice the only person not in that meeting was Hojo! i've said it before and i'll say it again, he needs to go and I'll bet you anything, that meeting was to say that if they don't improve offensively in the next week or two, hojo is gone!

So what is smoke and mirrors about a less talented team that is over-achieving?

Sounds a lot better than a talented team that is terribly under-achieving.

I dont understand your point bc you dont have to be the best team on paper to win.

Just look at the Super Bowl Champs.

Whoa whoa whoa, trade Reyes? I'm not sure he could be so easily replaced, especially with the contract he has, which ain't bad. Wright and Reyes need to stay. Rebuilding the team around them and Santana makes perfect sense. I'm also not down with ditching Beltran as having him in center field (regardless of how he's hitting) saves us runs and gets us outs that other center fielders wouldn't get. His defense would be extremely tough to replace. The other regular guys? Not so much. On a more positive note, Florida looks like they're gearing up for a fire sale after this season. See anything you like?
