Yeah, because this is the first team Omar has run it's farm system into the ground. First, he destroyed the Expos/Nationals Farm system, now the Mets. I can't wait 'till he runs out of BS and gets fired. I could throw darts at a piece of paper and pull off better deals.

about 1/2 hour after the first game finishes. Since it is a single adission, they don't need time to clear the stadium and admit the next crowd.

So, if they can finish by 4, it might start at 4:30.

Any idea on what time the second game will be? It'll probably be at 7 or 8 right?

The Mets no longer have an offday on August 11. Ironically, their rained out game from April 28 against the Pirates has been rescheduled for August 11.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE THAT MLB HAS SCHEDULED A DOUBLEHEADER FOR TODAY WHEN THE METS NEED TO FLY TO THE WEST COAST!!!

THERE IS ANOTHER OPTION!!!!

Now that I'm done shouting. The Mets aren't going to land in LA until after midnight. Not too bad you say, but with the time change it's tough. I fly to Asia and California alot and I find the time change to the West Coast worse than flying to the other side of the world.

Anyway, the rainout should have been rescheduled as an afternoon game on August 11. The Mets need to only travel to Washington for a night game on the 12th.

The Rangers were in Baltimore, playnig an afternoon game on the 10th and heading to Boston for a night game on the 12th. Both teams are rested and neither has far to travel.

A much more logical decision and one the gets the Mets to LA about 3 to 4 hours earlier.

MLB is stupid.

The LIRR lets you off about a quarter mile from the stadium. It could be another quarter mile or so walk depending on which gate you have to go through (Gate A is the farthest away).

Someone should make sure and tell the WHOLE team about the time difference between New York and LA. Also, make sure they all have digital clocks, so the big and little hands don't mess them up.

As I said above, I saw a clip of four Mets doing the Slip-n-Slide thing--Reyes and Wright were two of them.
