Same here brotha.
What I meant was that when something upsets me really badly it doesn’t allow me to sleep. I wake up every 30 mins or hour, etc. I can’t rest properly and I don’t know if the Mets players can/cannot either.

I’m lost on 1 thing. Why was doing it in a hotel room, as opposed to the stadium, so “brutal” to quote Kevin?

ANd midnight after a night game is probably a normal time for these guys to be doing stuff!

I might have a tough time sleeping but, they are on the west coast. And they don’t play tonight until 10. The mets better not look sluggish. Hell I had to get up at 6:30 to get on work on time after staying up late to watch the game.

OK Here’s the plan guys:
We wait until he starts winning. Then we pay for his airfare to California. Omar will stay in the hotel. Then Omar in a trenchcoat at 3am EST meets Willie in the hotel. He fires him. We haven’t lined up a real replacement. We promote the guys from AAA because whenever we have a problem that’s what we do. NY and the press have a big party because we are heroes

Doesn’t anyone think that some of these players recieved this information in the middle of the night 12-1am and actually lost some sleep because of it? Which would lead me to believe that it would not be surprising to see the team sluggish tonight. I know if I found out my manager was fired, partly due to my performance, I would have a tough time sleeping well.

Like I said, I do think Willie knew.
There is no way his daughter goes on Facebook to write ” I am no longer a Mets fan :) ” at around 7pm if she didn’t know something beforehand.

Its too coincidental for her to write that , as less than 10 hours later her father was fired.

Kevin did a good job there. Very upfront and honest and yet professional. Probably didn’t get him any points with the Mets but it should have. Listening to the part about “the guys had no idea” made my stomach turn.
