In fact, it helps this team more than it would pretty much any other Major League club -- in that Church is almost Ruthean compared to who he'll be replacing in our lineup. It's not like we're losing even a .700 OPS guy like Pagan. Church is being slotted into the lineup for guys like Marlon Anderson and Trot Nixon -- with Church's return, we're losing guys with OPS-es WELL under .600 like Marlon Anderson (.513) and Trot Nixon (.578). Welcome back, Churchie -- time to get back to work!! ^ Best believe.
