they weren’t that great to begin with. his shoulder flies open wayyyy too early. when he’s timing it right he’s pretty good but if it’s off at all, you see pitches that are 4 feet off the plate.

Why is the answer to ‘I have a dead arm’ ‘I’ll work it harder in non-game situations’? Shouldn’t he tone it down and conserve that strength for the actual games?
