Alou has looked good in his rehab starts… that does not mean that he won’t have something random happen to him tonight… but like Dan says at majorleaguesarcasm.com “Alou is going for the St. Lucie batting title!”

This is off-topic, but that Newsday piece also confirms that Alou will be back with the team by this weekend. Wasn’t Tony Bernazard telling reporters that Alou wouldn’t be ready any time soon when we first started hearing this over the weekend?

Maine needs to start going deep. Even if it means pitching 120, he has to pitch 7 innings. Hes a better pitcher then he has shown this year.
